Product Page Content

Brand Users are able edit and modify all of their products’ information through the Grovara Platform. They are also able to manage each product’s availability status as a best selling product (“Yes” or “No”) and whether or not the product is out-of-stock. See the editable fields for a product below. To edit a product’s information and availability, follow the steps here. All edits to product pages will be approved or denied by a Grovara Representative before the change goes live.

A Product Editing Screen consists of five tabs, with the following content for editing. All content must be entered in English and in Imperial measurements and all prices in USD.

1. Tab One: General #

      • Brand
        Can select Brand from drop down menu; see Super User information here
      • SKU
      • Item UPC
      • Case UPC
      • Pop Box UPC
        Inner-Pack UPC code
      • Product Name
        Brand Name followed by Product Name (EXAMPLE: G-Brands Mango Pops)
      • Description
        Brief product description
      • About – (Optional)
        Product information supplemental to product description
      • Out of Stock
        Check box for an item to be displayed on the website but listed as currently out of stock (See “Public” in the “Misc.” tab to make a product visible or not visible on the Grovara Marketplace)
      • Best Selling Product – (Optional)
        Select yes or no (Mark a maximum of five products per Brand as “Best Selling”)

2. Tab Two: Specifications #

      • In Legal Disclaimer
        Legal disclaimers that may be associated with the product; If no legal disclaimer is required, enter “no_data”
      • Top Level Category
        Select “Grocery & Gourmet Foods”
      • Sub-Category
        The category that most closely relates to the product (If uncertain, please contact a Grovara Administrator for assistance)
      • Group
        The group most closely aligned with the product; If uncertain, contact a Grovara Administrator for assistance
      • Best Use – (Optional)
        Description of the best use of the product
      • Unit Price
        The price of a unit within a case (includes Grovara margin); NOTE: Request assistance from Grovara Administrator before updating
      • Case Price
        Price per case (includes Grovara’s Margin); NOTE: Request assistance from Grovara Administrator before updating

3. Tab Three: Images/Documents #

      • Nutrition Info (Information)
        Image of product Nutrition Facts Panel; Must be a JPG or PNG file
      • Primary Image
        Main product image; Must be a JPG or PNG file
      • Secondary Image – (Optional)
        Image of back of product’s packaging or an alternative view; Must be a JPG or PNG file
      • Product Label
        Image of the product’s Flat Label; Must be a JPG or PNG file

4. Tab Four: Dimensions #

      • Qty Per Case (Quantity Per Case)
        Number of units of product within a single case
      • Size
        Size of a single unit or individual item (enter numerical content only); For non-innerpack (“Retail Unit”) products, enter SKU size/item size; For innerpack products, enter innerpack case size = (qty per innerpack * retail unit size)
      • Size UoM (Units of Measure)
        Enter the Size Unit of Measure for number entered in “Size” field

Unit Dimensions

      • Unit Length
        Length of a single unit in inches
      • Unit Width
        Width of a single unit in inches
      • Unit Height
        Height of a single unit in inches
      • Unit Weight
        Weight of a single unit in pounds
      • Unit Package Type
        Type of packaging for an individual unit (ex. Cardboard, plastic, foil, etc)
      • Case Dimensions
      • Case Length
        Length of a single case in inches
      • Case Width
        Width of a single case in inches
      • Case Height
        Height of a single case in inches
      • Case Weight
        Weight of a single case in pounds
      • Case Cubic Feet
        Volume of a single case in cubic feet; Use the following formula to determine the cubic feet of a case: Multiply the Case Length, Case Width, and Case Height (in inches). Divide result in inches by 1728 in order to determine the Case Cubic Feet
      • Case Package Type
        Type of packaging for an individual case (ex. Cardboard, plastic, foil, etc.)

Pallet Dimensions

      • Pallet Ti
        Number of cases on a single layer within a single pallet
      • Pallet Hi
        Number of layers within a single pallet
      • Pallet Weight
        Weight of a single pallet in pounds
      • Pallet Cubic Feet
        Multiply the Pallet Length, Pallet Width, and Pallet Height (in inches); Divide result by 1728 in order to determine Pallet Cubic Feet

Miscellaneous 

      • Container 20
        Number of pallets that fit into a 20 foot container (If this information is unknown, enter “10”)
      • Container 40
        Number of pallets that fit into a 40 foot container (If this information is unknown, enter “20”)
      • Shelf Life
        Product’s shelf life in days
      • Shelf Life Pickup
        The guaranteed shelf life remaining at the time of pickup
      • Storage Location
        The temperature at which the product should be stored in Fahrenheit; The dropdown menu consists of the numbers 1 through 4 corresponding to different temperature ranges: 1 = Ambient (33 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit), 2 = Chilled (33 to 37 degrees Fahrenheit), 3 = Frozen (20 degrees Fahrenheit and below), 4 = Dry (33 degrees Fahrenheit and above)
      • Size Variations
        Coming Soon! This field is not currently in use but will soon enable Brands to set multiple sizes for a single product.
      • HTS
        Products HTS code; if unavailable, contact Grovara Administrator for assistance
      • Retail Unit Size
        The retail unit size of a single item of the product regardless of whether it is a retail unit “normal” product or an innerpack SKU/item.

5. Tab Five: Misc. (Miscellaneous) #

      • Checkboxes
        Checkboxes align to product claim and certification options; Select box for each claim or certification that applies to the individual product; NOTE: Only select certifications that have third-party verification
      • Status
        Notation of whether or not the product is currently available for sale; The dropdown menu consists of three options:

        • Active = The product is currently available for sale
        • Inactive = The product is not visible on the marketplace
        • Pending = The product is not visible on the marketplace; Enables users to save current progress while editing content
      • Mfg State (Manufacturing State)
        Enter abbreviated state name (two letters) for US state in which product is produced
      • Public
        Select box in order to make product available for viewing on the Grovara Marketplace
