Kekoa Foods
Is your baby food organic?
Yes. We’re proud to offer USDA Certified Organic products. This ensures our baby foods are free from synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, and GMO ingredients. Only the best for adventurous babies.
How should a parent know your baby food is safe?
Safety is our utmost concern. Our food is made and packaged at a top-of-the-line facility that produces for many of the largest organic baby food companies in the U.S. For you food safety nerds like us, the facility is SQF-certified, USDA Organic, kosher, halal, and FSMA-compliant.
Will my baby actually eat ginger, curry, fennel, and the other unique ingredients you use?
Every child is different, but our baby foods have been tested with hundreds of babies, and generally, they love it. Research shows that the earlier you start feeding certain flavors (even eating them while the baby is still in the womb), the more likely a child will enjoy those flavors later in life. A child’s palate is very malleable. Traditional wisdom says ginger or curry might be too “bold” or “spicy” for a child, but our direct experience shows us that’s simply not true. When we look at what parents around the world feed their children (hint: not bland food!) we’ve noticed that these children grow up with quite adventurous palates.
What’s the benefit of adding these different herbs and vegetables to your baby food?
Compared to single-ingredient baby foods, our baby food blends provide a wider variety of nutrition in a single serving, and the more complex flavors will expand a baby’s palate, potentially helping them become more adventurous eaters as they grow and are introduced to new solid foods.
