We’re Hiring – Grovara is Seeking a Sales Lead for South America
Do you love natural food brands that rely on wholesome ingredients? And do you like shopping at natural food stores? There are people like you all over the globe and Grovara is helping to bring your favorite products to a store near them.
It’s quite a feat to export food – regulations, being perishable, and logistics create complexities with shipping, fulfillment, and warehousing. Giant companies offset the cost of exporting with cheap ingredients, but Grovara is creating economies with knowledge and proprietary technology so a brand from Main Street USA can find customers in a natural food store in, Santiago, Chile. We have a substantial backlog of retailers that want to participate in our program, and that’s where you can come in as a candidate for leading sales in South America.
From our convenient office in beautiful University City, Philadelphia, you’ll be reaching out to retailers (in fluent Spanish) both by phone and in writing. We do not cold call though we speak to many international buyers daily who request our products.
While we are persuasive and articulate in educating buyers on new categories and make the case for the brands we represent – most of the time our catalogue sells itself. We are a metric based decision making company that uses data and a passion-for-real-pure-food ingredients.
Best of all – we’re in growth-mode.
Our small growing company is extremely diverse in every way, and we thrive as a result. We recognize that many different backgrounds and skills can help Grovara be successful.
If selected, the position will start with a 90 day intensive training period in our office, working shoulder to shoulder with the team. During this period, you’ll receive a training stipend of $500 per week. The compensation following the training period will include a base plus commission which together could amount to an annual pay up-to $80,000, depending on performance. The position might include travel abroad at least twice a year to visit clients and attend trade shows. Get your passport ready.
Please send us a cover letter specifically addressing your interest in this position. And include a resume. If we consider you, we’ll invite you for an interview in English and Spanish, as well as a writing exercise.
